Go behind the scenes at this Intimate Wedding in Chianti, Tuscany — Captured by a Tuscany Wedding Photographer

Charming courtyard at Tregole in Chianti, Tuscany, set for an intimate wedding with rustic stone walls and natural greenery.

When couples dream of getting married in Tuscany, they often imagine golden light over rolling hills, charming stone villas, and long, joyful dinners under the stars. Stefan and Natalie’s intimate wedding at Tregole in Chianti was exactly that — effortlessly romantic and deeply personal. As a Tuscany wedding photographer, it was an absolute honor to capture their love in such an idyllic setting.

A Dreamy Setting in the Heart of Chianti, Tuscany

Tregole, nestled in the heart of the Chianti wine region, is the kind of place that feels untouched by time. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, this family-run estate offered a peaceful and private location perfect for a small destination wedding in Tuscany.

From the moment I arrived, I knew this wedding would be special. The villa’s rustic charm paired beautifully with elegant details — soft florals, tuscan inspired decor, and an intimate chapel ceremony, followed by a reception under the stars.

If you are considering getting married in Tuscany, Tregole offers that rare combination of authenticity and understated elegance. It's a perfect choice for couples planning an intimate celebration.

The Wedding Day: Relaxed, Joyful, and Full of Meaning

The day began slowly, as destination weddings should. Natalie got ready in one of the villa’s cozy suites, surrounded by close family and friends. The morning was quiet and serene, with soft Tuscan light filtering through the windows.

The ceremony took place in a tiny chapel hidden among the rolling hills of Chianti — a setting steeped in history and quiet charm. With only their closest loved ones gathered inside its stone walls, Natalie and Stefan exchanged heartfelt vows as soft Tuscan light streamed through centuries-old windows, creating a moment that felt both timeless and deeply personal.

Afterward, guests gathered on the terrace for aperitivo — local wines and antipasti, followed by a long, relaxed dinner under string lights. Capturing candid moments of laughter, toasts, and dancing as the sun set was a true joy.

The culinary experience was just as unforgettable as the setting. Royal Catering crafted an exceptional menu that celebrated the rich flavors of Tuscany with elegance and creativity. From locally sourced antipasti to handmade pasta and perfectly prepared seasonal dishes, every course was a delight for the senses. Guests gathered around long tables under the stars, savoring each bite as laughter and conversation filled the warm evening air. The food wasn’t just a meal — it became an experience that brought everyone together and perfectly complemented the relaxed, intimate atmosphere of the day.

As the light softened, we snuck away for sunset portraits among the vineyards. These golden hour photos are some of my favorites — Tuscany truly shows off at this time of day, and the results are always magical.
