As a wedding photographer in Spain, I’m always inspired by weddings that feel deeply personal — and Amy and Oriol’s wedding was exactly that. Set in the Tarragona countryside, just outside of Barcelona, this June celebration was filled with emotion, nature, and the kind of relaxed beauty that destination weddings in Spain are known for.
The day began in a quiet village — the groom’s hometown — where the couple got ready surrounded by close family and friends. There's something incredibly special about starting the day in a place that already holds so many memories, and it set the tone for a celebration that felt both meaningful and effortless.
Their outdoor ceremony took place in a peaceful garden setting, framed by trees and with beautiful mountain views in the distance. As the sun began to dip, guests gathered for an al fresco wedding reception, complete with long tables, warm Spanish light, and incredible local cuisine. Think traditional dishes, fresh ingredients, and wine flowing late into the evening — everything you’d hope for from a destination wedding in Spain.
