📍 Choosing the Perfect Mallorca Wedding Photography Locations

The beauty of Mallorca is how diverse it is — one island, countless photo opportunities.

🕒 How Many Hours of Photography Coverage Do You Need?

Most weddings in Mallorca are full-day events, and I typically recommend 8 to 10 hours of coverage. This allows for:

  • Getting ready photos

  • First look or private vows (if you choose)

  • Full ceremony + cocktail hour

  • Golden hour portraits

  • Dinner, speeches, and first dances

Elopements or micro weddings often need just 4 to 6 hours — enough to capture the ceremony, portraits, and a relaxed celebration.

👀 Should We Do a First Look?

First looks have become increasingly popular — especially for destination weddings.

Pros of a First Look:

  • Calms pre-ceremony nerves.

  • Allows time for all formal family and bridal party portraits to be captured before the ceremony, meaning you get to be fully present on the day without the formalities of portraits after the ceremony.

  • Gives you more time together to enjoy with your favourite people without needing to step away from the party for formal photos.

  • Frees up cocktail hour for mingling and enjoying the Mallorca sunshine.

💡 Not sure what’s right for you? I’ll help you design a timeline that works around light, logistics and the things that matter most to you.

💬 FAQs About Wedding Photography in Mallorca

Q: When should we book our Mallorca wedding photographer?
A: Most couples book 9–12 months in advance, especially for popular dates in May–September.

Q: How do we secure our date?
A: A signed contract and a 30% booking fee secures your date.

Q: Do you work with videographers?
A: Yes — I can recommend trusted videographers I’ve worked with who match my style and approach.

Q: What happens if it rains?
A: Rainy wedding days can be incredibly romantic — think moody skies, soft light, and beautiful candid moments. I’ll always find creative ways to work with the weather, whether that means capturing dreamy umbrella-in-hand portraits or embracing an editorial indoor look with flash. And the good news is: rain rarely lasts all day! We’ll usually find a window for some outdoor photos. If you have your heart set on golden-hour portraits and the weather doesn’t cooperate, we can always schedule a post-wedding shoot so we can chase that sunset together.

Q: Can we customize our package?
A: Absolutely — if you’re planning a spectacular three-day celebration, I’ll tailor coverage to your needs. I also offer elopement and micro-wedding packages for more intimate celebrations.
